Senior AI-Driven QA Engineer (Product-Focused)
Remote (Argentina Time Zone) | Full-time | Collaboration with US-based teams
From 5411 Hub, a firm specialized in Headhunting & Recruiting for technology companies across LATAM and the United States, we are currently supporting a fast-growing technology company in the search for a Senior AI-Driven QA Engineer with a strong product mindset.
This role is designed for QA professionals who go far beyond traditional testing. We are looking for someone who thinks and operates like a Product Quality Owner — a professional who not only validates what was built, but helps ensure that the right product is built, with the right priorities, and released safely.
You will be working in a dynamic startup environment where priorities can evolve quickly and where strong judgment, adaptability, and clear communication are essential. The ideal candidate is someone confident enough to say when necessary: “This is not ready,” “This requirement is unclear,” or “If we prioritize this, we won’t be able to deliver that.”
If you are looking for a QA role focused mainly on executing tickets or predefined test cases, this position is likely not the right fit.
A key responsibility of this role will be ensuring the quality of product requirements before development begins. The person in this role will review and challenge requirements early in the process, identifying gaps, inconsistencies, potential risks, and edge cases. You will work closely with Product and Engineering teams to clarify scope, refine acceptance criteria, and prioritize work effectively, acting as a quality gate before tasks enter the development pipeline.
The role also involves strong ownership of release quality and risk management. This means evaluating release readiness, defining validation strategies, and making informed decisions about whether a release should move forward. In situations where the risk level is too high, the QA engineer is expected to have the judgment and confidence to block the release. AI tools will play an important role in this process, helping analyze potential risks, dependencies, and system impact before deployments.
Testing in this position follows an AI-first approach and is focused on real business workflows rather than isolated technical validations. All automated tests are created using Claude Code, with a strong emphasis on End-to-End (E2E) testing. The goal is to protect critical business flows and user journeys rather than generating large volumes of low-level tests. Automated testing will focus on key user paths, cross-system integrations, high-risk scenarios, and edge cases that could affect real product usage.
The role also requires strong cross-functional collaboration. You will partner with Product teams to prioritize work based on risk and impact, provide structure when urgent or unexpected requests appear, and serve as a strong voice advocating for focus, quality, and realistic delivery timelines.
Because documentation may not always be complete, the role also requires the ability to investigate system behavior directly through code exploration. This includes analyzing repositories in GitHub, reviewing dependencies, and using AI tools to understand system flows when documentation is missing. In this environment, the codebase itself is often the most reliable source of truth.
We are looking for professionals with at least six years of QA experience, ideally with significant ownership in fast-moving environments such as startups or high-growth technology companies. The ideal candidate has demonstrated the ability to challenge unclear requirements, make difficult quality decisions under pressure, and balance delivery speed with product stability and business impact.
A strong product mindset is essential. The right candidate naturally thinks in terms of user impact and business risk, feels comfortable pushing back on stakeholders when necessary, and has strong prioritization and decision-making skills.
From a technical perspective, we are looking for strong experience in automated End-to-End testing, familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot, and solid experience working with tools like Jira and GitHub for workflow management, code exploration, and release impact analysis.
Excellent written and spoken English is required, as this role involves close collaboration with US-based teams.
Success in this position will be reflected in clearer requirements reaching Engineering, fewer late-stage surprises during development, faster and safer releases, and a team that trusts the QA function to guide quality and readiness decisions.
This role is ideal for professionals who believe QA should actively influence what gets built, not just test it; who thrive in environments with ambiguity and evolving priorities; and who see AI as a core part of their workflow rather than just an auxiliary tool.
