About the role

We are looking for a commercially driven professional with a strong business mindset, the ability to lead growth strategies, and experience developing business opportunities within the fintech ecosystem. This role will play a key part in generating new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving the company’s commercial expansion.

The selected candidate will be responsible for designing and executing the commercial strategy, leading high-impact negotiations, and working closely with key stakeholders to accelerate business growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Design and implement the company’s commercial strategy.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expansion initiatives within the fintech market.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with clients, partners, and strategic allies.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and high-impact business agreements.
  • Identify growth, revenue, and market positioning opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align commercial goals with overall business strategy.
  • Analyze commercial metrics, performance, and business evolution to support decision-making.
  • Represent the company in front of clients, partners, and key strategic stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Solid experience in commercial leadership, business development, or commercial strategy roles within fintech, financial services, or technology companies.
  • Proven experience in B2B consultative sales and strategic account development.
  • Strong ability to lead complex negotiations and build long-term business relationships.
  • Strategic, results-driven profile with a strong business vision.
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Advanced or bilingual English.
  • Based in Mexico City or available to work in a hybrid model.

Nice to have

  • Experience in high-growth companies, technology businesses, or digital products.
  • Knowledge of the fintech ecosystem in Mexico and/or LATAM.
  • Strong analytical skills and focus on business performance indicators.
  • High level of autonomy, leadership, and initiative to drive new opportunities.
