About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Android Engineer who is a native Italian speaker to join the team of one of our growth partners. In this role, you’ll help shape high-quality mobile experiences for end users using modern technologies like Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and scalable architectural patterns.

You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers throughout the full software development lifecycle. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact in a fast-paced and agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Work cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and engineers to design, develop, and launch new features.
• Participate in all phases of the development lifecycle: technical design, implementation, testing, deployment, experimentation, and analysis.
• Conduct code reviews and help elevate engineering standards and best practices.
• Provide feedback on product design, user experience, and data tracking plans.
• Stay current with the latest Android development tools and trends and contribute to team knowledge-sharing.
• Embrace a culture of shared ownership and purpose-driven collaboration.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Android development using Kotlin.
• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming with Coroutines.
• Proficient in consuming REST APIs using tools like OkHttp and Retrofit.
• Advanced experience with Dependency Injection, ideally with Dagger2.
• Familiar with architectural patterns such as MVI and MVP.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose, or strong willingness to deepen expertise in Compose.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and mobile test automation practices.
• Basic knowledge of Java (less than 3% of the codebase is in Java).
• Proven ability to work in Agile environments with a high level of autonomy.
• Intermediate English communication skills (spoken and written).
• Native Italian language proficiency – mandatory.
