Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cloud Security Solutions Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will work closely with our partners, to implement Cloud Security data management solutions. This role involves assisting with solution architecture, cloud workload protection (Containers and Kubernetes), Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM), and collaborating with internal stakeholders to enhance operations and professional services related to onboarding and managed services for MSP/MSSP and enterprise companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with partners, and other team members to design and implement Cloud Security and data management solutions.
- Facilitate work sessions and follow-up meetings with partners and clients.
- Deploy and configure cloud security workload protection solutions.
- Deploy and configure cloud security posture management solutions.
- Conduct training sessions or presentations for team members, partners, and clients.
- Provide documentation for internal teams and clients.
- Create a lessons learned document for each completed project.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies and concepts in log management, data management, and cybersecurity.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience performing IT deployments or in an end-user/customer environment.
- Cloud platform expertise and certifications for AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Extensive knowledge of at least one public cloud.
- Extensive knowledge of cloud and container deployment technologies.
- Strong knowledge of CSPM.
- Expertise in Linux administration and usage of CLI.
- Extensive experience scripting with Bash and/or Python (PowerShell is a plus).
- Proficiency in Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms.
- Comprehensive customer-facing consulting experience.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Broad experience in overall cloud, computer, and network systems security.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with the capability to identify solutions to unusual and complex problems.
- Results-driven, self-starter with a high level of motivation.
- Excellent time management with the ability to lead multiple customer engagements.
Preferred Experience:
- Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI.
- Container Technologies: EKS, AKS, GKE, ECS, OpenShift, Docker.
- Registry Tools: ECR, GCR, ACR, JFROG Artifactory, Docker Hub, Red Hat OpenShift.
- Operating Systems: Windows, Linux, Mac.
- Deployment Tools: Terraform, CloudFormation, Helm.
- Scripting Languages: PowerShell, Python, Bash, Batch.
- Development Tools: GitHub, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, including knowledge of code and repository management best practices.
- Cloud Platform and DevOps certifications are a plus.
